been a keen stars follower since quick on the draw in our days of youth, when we thought we would never get old, hope you can make it west sometime mick its been 1979 since I have seen a live band in a pub now we just have rap crap and techo shit I pray for the day that it all dies out and we go back to real music without the swearing and depressing lyrics they are filling our kids heads with these days. Is there anyway to get stars 1157 live released on cd as the other 2 are already. cheers mate hope to see you soon. Hey Steve, we've just recently done NSW country and are planning to take it further so hopefully we'll see you later in the year, unfortunately it's up to Warners as far as a rerelease for 1157 goes

Where can I buy a copy (if it's ever released & available?) Stars live DVD&Andy Durant Memorial Concert DVD?. Hey Adrian, JB HiFi should be able to get it for you if not Warners or there's usually a copy or two floating around the net

Dear Mick, been a fan ever since I saw stars at my high school social ( kealba high ) back in the 70s... My favorite song is back again..... just wondering if there is any chance of getting the sheet music chords or tabs for this song.... ii have searched high and low for this but cant seem to find it anywhere..... hope you can help me... very best wishes... grahame lack lackie888@gmail.com Hi Grahame, there's two ways of playing it, one is Andy's picking style or you could play it the way I do which is just strumming the chords, either way is valid as it is all up to your interpretation, start with G then it's all yours M

The show on Sunday, perfect as usual. Seen you over many years, pubs in my youth, Palais 1980, 2 Andy shows and a Raw Brit. Stalking, I don't think so, just appreciate your amazing voice. The rendition of Jive Town, Sunday, broken strings or planned??? It was a great. afternoon. Thanks Anne, Jive Town was an unplanned moment, I'm glad it seemed to work ,)

Hi Mick. Great afternoon at Caravan club today. My mate Craig got table 3 right down front. Was going to request Quo number but hey Stars songs etc.... We're top notch. I really enjoyed show. Tracey sang so well and as always you nailed it. Your solo unaccompanied was superb. My wife Christine thought it was fantastic too. Well done to you all. Mal gets really into it and can see how the loss of Andy affected you both and still does. Wonderful guitar work by Nick Charles. Reminds me of Tommy Emmanuel. Catch you at next Rawbrit show on 12th July. Rockon Wilquo

Hey Mick, looking for your next gig, we absolutely loved the flying saucer matinee with Mal and the gang. Two of my fave albums Paradise and Land of Fortune. You kindly let me have a photo taken in the foyer afterwards. You really are a "Star". Keep on rockin mate, Greg
